Three Names; One Person.

According to the Vedic tradition a child is given Three Names by its father during the Naming Ceremony. The father of the child is said to be the Custodian of Culture into which the child is born and the Names are meant to transfer the values and meanings encapsulated in the names to the next generation through the child. Here the language is secondary and the experience is primary. The desired impact grows within the child like the pattern in the above picture. ( This picture is an arial view of a plantation.)

The enrolled students may try to answer the following questions.

i) How does the human brain respond to the names logged in ?

ii) How do the three names create an integral pattern in the embodied consciousness ?

Sans name the individual is a non-entity; not only socially, but also existentially. Consciousness is not and does not entertain emptiness. ( The Void of Buddha is Fullness and not a vacuum.)
